How Time2Feed supports feeding intervals, reminders, and feed stock
The core of Time2Feed is a practical feeding planner for exotic pets. Instead of relying on scattered notes, spreadsheets, or chat reminders, you record every feeding directly on the animal profile. This improves daily care and also creates a long-term record you can review when feeding behavior changes.
The traffic light status system is especially helpful when you manage several animals. Green means the animal is still within its interval, yellow marks an animal that is due, and red shows that it is overdue. Combined with daily reminders, this gives you a quick decision tool for busy days and helps reduce missed or duplicate feedings.
Time2Feed also covers feed stock management. You can create feed types, log purchases, and let the inventory decrease automatically whenever you save a feeding. This is useful for insects, frozen prey, and other specialized food sources where planning ahead matters. Import old App Data (CSV Import)
Are you already using my old app and don't want to lose your carefully maintained data? No worries! You can easily transfer your animal data via CSV file using the web application.
What will be imported:
- Animal Profile Data: Name, gender, date of birth, feeding interval & notes.
- History Logs: Feedings (incl. food type, quantity & status), sheddings, weight & length measurements, and custom events.
What will NOT be imported:
- Animal Photos: Images and avatars must be re-uploaded or chosen anew in the new app.
- Bulk Imports: Since the old export is per animal, you import your animals one by one (one file per animal).
*Note: Since I cannot extend the export of the old app due to technical limitations, this is a partial transfer of the most important core data. This ensures a smooth transition without data loss!

Is Time2Feed only available as a mobile app?
No. In addition to the iOS and Android apps, you can use Time2Feed as a browser-based web app. This is helpful when you want to work on a desktop, manage stock in more detail, or import CSV files more comfortably.
How does the import from the old app work?
The CSV import transfers key profile and history data, including names, feeding intervals, notes, and recorded events. Photos are not imported, and older exports still need to be imported one animal at a time.
